Potty Humor Inside (Just a warning!)

So, I know its been a few weeks since I’ve posted any pictures or updates on the kids, I’ve been swamped with seniors and weddings.  I should be coming up for air at the beginning of June, hopefully!

I did take some pictures of them playing outside today that I’ll try and blog soon, but to hold you over, here’s a rather crude “Haydenism” that Wade said I should blog!

I was scratching Hayden’s back when he asked me to and he started to get goose bumps, he asked what that was when I said it, so I tickled his neck and showed him the bumps on his arms … he says “Oh, when I poo sometimes those come out and it hurts.”

Nice, thanks for the info son!

Huntin’ Eggs

After pictures, we let the kids start the hunt.  We had tons of plastic eggs filled with candy, dollars and coins for the kids to find and they each had their big baskets.  I tried to get Emelyn to participate, but all she wanted to do was ride in the wagon with Adalyn.  I helped Hayden and took photos.  When it was over, we all sat in the shade while the kids opened every egg to see what was inside.  They all ate WAY too much sugar, including Adalyn, who tasted cotton candy for the first time and Emelyn, who ate every M&M and Sixlet that she could get her hands on.  It was so much fun!

P&S Photos

A couple of months ago, Wade ordered us a small, cheap P&S for him to carry around, to the camp and just to have.  It doesn’t take good photos AT ALL, they are pretty crappy, actually – blurry, grainy, etc.  but there were a few times this weekend when I just didn’t feel like toting around my big camera, so I pulled it out.

The first  night we were there, my parents’ gave the kids their Easter baskets.  The boys each got an IPod Touch … yes, I know its excessive and yes I have made comments in the past about young kids having their own IPods but that was  before I had ever held or used one myself.  My mom got one for Christmas and the kids fight over it all the time.  We put a few kid games on it for them and they love it.  I think mom just wanted to be able to use her own IPod, so now the boys each have one!  Mandy and I took them the night before and filled them with educational preschool apps, TV shows, movies, etc.  They were both thrilled when they saw them in their baskets!  The girls got tons of precious clothes, a baby doll and some other cute things.

The other set of photos are just some more pictures from the dock, enjoy the terrible photos!
