Grammy’s Vday Party

My mom decided she wanted to give the grandkids a Valentine’s day party this year, I think because of the 4 of them, only one of them is in school and able to participate in a “real” one.  She had all kinds of fun stuff for them including a Toadally cute frog craft, lots of sweets and plenty of presents.  They all had a great time and its always fun to have them enjoy something like this together!

Discovery Place in Charlotte

This past February, we took a trip up to Charlotte to surprise Wade’s mom.  He had told Craig we were coming, but she didn’t know and after a long day of driving, we arrived at their house around 6pm, right as she was leaving to do a Scentsy party and her reaction was absolutely priceless – screaming, yelling and crying, she hugged the kids so tight I think they were freaked out LOL  It was a great trip and definitely something we should do more often.  While we were there, we took the kids to Discovery Place, which they really enjoyed.   The first area that is made for smaller kids was their favorite part, especially Emelyn’s.  They had this big water area with all kinds of different moving parts that she didn’t want to leave.  Hayden loved an area with pots and pans to bang on.  Lots of fun!

There were even little seats built into it, like a high chair, so you could sit babies down and let them splash.

When you sat down really hard on these things, it made a ball shoot to the top of a tube and ring a bell, but Hayden wasn’t heavy enough.

There’s a small area of aquariums …
